While doing freelance layouts for Iron Crown Enterprises in the mid to late 90's I was tasked with drawing some trade dress illustrations for the new Rolemaster Standard System RPG line of rulebooks in the style of the borders used in the MERP Moria module from 1995. The following illustrations were used by ICE as trade dress for the new Rolemaster Standard System Line in 1995, and the suceeding 3rd and 4th edition Rolmaster revisions of 1999.

I was the Science Fiction Editor of our High School Magazine entitled Gallery Magazine during my Sophomore and Junior years in 1982 and 1983. During that time, I wrote two stories featured in the magazine and the illustration and story below were published as a prequel to the followup story done later in 1983. It is my first attempt at fiction writing and my first published castle illustration, and the followup story was the first time I had ever written a recap story based on actual D&D play.
